Summary/Abstract: This article is intended to illustrate that before we are in a position to hold public office, we must first of all remember that we must be human. It is well known that the world is full of people, but is it also full of people? In our fast pace of doing our jobs we forget to show our human values to those we interact with on a daily basis, often focusing only on professional values. The purpose of this article is to identify some of the human values that a civil servant needs in order to perform his or her job.
