Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the creative destiny of one of the important writers of post-war Bessarabia. Originally from Cernauti, Arcadie Suceveanu asserted himself especially in Chisinau, asserting himself from the perspective of the need to liberate literature from ideological dictates and bringing a new neomodernist breath to poetry based on openness to the broad horizons of universal culture, but also on the importance of preserving memory cultural, thus avenging, from an artistic point of view, his native Bucovina.
