Summary/Abstract: The present study brings into discussion some colors that were attracted to poets from Romanian, but also universal literature, in order to build their artistic imagination. Yellow, purple and gray are the most important chromatic symbols that managed not only to mark modern expressiveness, but also to penetrate into the postmodernist, with their exact meanings, bringing an articulating register between the two eras of poetic sensibility
