Summary/Abstract: The night opens infinite spaces revealing the unknowable that Henri Michaux sought to explore. The night makes another world appear and Michaux will find in poetry and in the darkness a spiritual adventure that borders on the mystical experience where God is missing. The night will even produce hallucinogenic effects and the images will give another glimpse of the night feeding Michaux’s desires for the other world or “the Night”.
