Summary/Abstract: The presented research defines the goals and directions of technological education in the Bulgarian school and considers some good practices developed in museums. The topic provides some examples that realize the main goal of the museum – to offer society an environment that facilitates familiarization with its understanding of science and technology and traditional crafts and arts. It places some emphasis on the research question: how museums perform the function of educational institutions – what are the tools for implementing this function, what audiences are targeted by educational activities and programs and what are the trends in this process.
