Summary/Abstract: Through the present study we intended to analyze a group of Educational Sciences Student’s attitudes toward thinking and learning using The Attitudes Towards Thinking and Learning Survey [ATTLS], an instrument developed by Galotti et al. (1999) to measure the extent to which a person is a “connected knower” (CK) or a “separate knower” (SK). While teaching the discipline Fundamentals of Special Psychopedagogy - in addition to knowing about disability - we also focus on students' attitudes towards people with disabilities and on their ability to cooperate and work in a team, together with other colleagues. In this context, we propose in the present article an exploratory analysis of Educational Sciences Students' tendencies regarding “connected knowing” (CK) and “separate knowing” (SK), assuming that CK will be predominant, according to the specialization and female gender of participants.
