Summary/Abstract: The research aim was to complete a scientific-theoretical description of different forms of ecological upbringing and education for a sustainable development. The method of theoretical analysis was used with relevant scientific-theoretical and scientific-research sources as its research corpus. The following forms of ecological upbringing and education for a sustainable development were presented in the work: play and play activities, classes as a form of ecological upbringing and education, free activities, cultural and public school service, ecological upbringing and education for a sustainable development through homeroom classes, as well as winter and summer holiday activities as forms of ecological upbringing and education for a sustainable development. Research findings confirmed the specialty and significance of each presented form o ecological upbringing and education for a sustainable development and it was concluded that they integrated and in synergy form an entity of contemporary ecological upbringing and education for a sustainable development.
