Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is presentation of PLIP project. "Public library" allows in first place to all librarians of public libraries in B&H such possibilities and give them a chance as they could gain control on PLIP programme of EIFL and after that make a decision about possible application when it will be next public invitation of mentioned organization in 2011, April. In the first section of paper there will present EIFL, its mission, PLIP programme and tries to introduce pro and con of changing of library role in the society. The second section of this paper will present particularly projects of all awarded libraries, because these projects and ideas will be able to response at next public invitation of EIFL. In the third section PLIP project of Public Library of Zavidovići, goals of the project and realizations will be presented. Conclusion will make a valid point for the example of Public Library of Zavidovići, which shows that nowadays library must preserve, being in processing cycle and lending library materials with all its other functions and becomes the institution which is more activated in the society with responses and accepting the needs of new library users and involving new technologies in the library.
