SCIENTIFIC METHOD AND SCIENTIFIC MORAL (BOGDAN POPOVIĆ)

Summary/Abstract: Bogdan Popović’s views on scientific methods, methodology in writing the history of (comparative, general, national) literature (preface to the Serbian translation of A Review of the History of European Literature by Paul Van Tieghem, 1932) and the factors that play a role when writing a proper scientific paper, as well as scientific moral (criticism of two books by Vinko Vitezica, A Review of World Literature and Poetics, 1928) were not the focus of great interest. The author of the paper believes that these works are current in the methodological sense both for the concept of the history of literature and the principles of scientific work (scientific moral).
