Palestine's Status in United Nations

Summary/Abstract: The goal of the article is to present the contemporary status of Palestine in the United Nations Organization and to sum up the role played by Palestine till now. Thus, one need to start with describing the institution of the Permanent Observer in general and in relation to the United Nations, all along with pointing its meaning and functions. Then, it can be related to Palestine status. Next, the results of granting the non-member Observer State status to Palestine are displayed. The last part of the work is devoted to the presentation of the Palestine’s efforts to be admitted to the United Nations, taking into account the criteria of membership from article 4 of the United Nations Charter and the procedure of admission. Finally, the conclusions can be drown.
