Re-establishment of the National Institute of Administration

Summary/Abstract: The paper analyze regulations of GO 23/2016 which reestablished the National Institute of Administration (NIA), a public institution with legal personality which will operate under the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration) that will provide the institutional framework to conduct the training authority staff and public institutions. The text presents the history of this institution starting with first establishment in 2001, the "melting" in its National Agency of Civil Servants in 2009 by Law 329/2009 and the context that led to the necessity of re-establishment in 2016. In conclusion we express our hope that the whole process will be finish in qualitative terms and all this actions will bring real value to Romanian administration.
