Summary/Abstract: Bearing in mind the generally accepted evaluation and meaning of the concepts of humanism and existentialism as humanism, in this paper I compared the philosophy of humanity of Abdulah Šarčević and existentialism as humanism of Jean-Paul Sartre, and we point out both the philosophical and value paradigmatics of the given considerations, as well as separate ethical and epistemic specificities, as well as on the kinship between these humanistic-thinking worldviews realized within the problematic of anthropo-metaphysical and ethical-moral perceptions of Šarčević’s conception of humanism in relation to Sartre’s existentialist humanism.
