Summary/Abstract: This article presents the main assumptions about the development and organisation of the Gdańsk Academy project – a series of historical lectures organised by the Institute of Urban Culture. The Gdańsk Academy project presents exceptional people who have gone down in the history of the city, as well as events, places, objects and stories related to Gdańsk and its surroundings. The project has been implemented since 2014.
