Essence of reception of citizens by "Territorial Police"

Summary/Abstract: The provision of police services and bringing the police activities closer to the people needs have started with the citizens admittance, during which they could be able to pose their problems. It is mainly implemented by the „Territorial Police“ officers in the served areas and aims to reduce the distance between the people and the police institution. The open presentation of important problems for people, related not only to security, but also to any other sphere of public life, requires the police not only to direct them where to seek for answers to their problems, but also to assist in their resolving. This article systematizes and summarizes the „Territorial Police“ practical experience activities in citizens admitting by the Ministry of Interior. Its main purpose is to reveal the peculiarities of this type of activity and its importance for achieving the ministry aims.
