Summary/Abstract: Archimandrite Kliment Rilets (1900-1985) was one of the most eminent men of letters at Rila Monastery in the 20th century. He had to his credit many books of which 17 were published during his lifetime while others are yet to be brought out. His researches deserve special attention because they constitute a major contribution to Bulgarian historiography. The life and creative work of Archimandrite Kliment Rilets should be studied in detail and popularized.
