Summary/Abstract: In the globalizing world, e-government is becoming a real and basic tool for implementing important policies (including customs), which make the economic and social environment increasingly competitive and fast-growing. Digitization is one of the strategic goals of the Bulgarian Customs Administration and is an important prerequisite for achieving the necessary administrative capacity to implement European legislation in the field of custom.
