Summary/Abstract: Diverta, a. s., carried out ESF project no. CZ.1.04/2.1.01/91.00276 ("The Best Age") from 1.2.2013 to 31.5.2015. The project was financed out of European Union and state budget funds. The target group comprised job applicants aged over 50 from the Kolín, Kutná Hora, Nymburk and Svitavy districts. Sixty-seven individuals (34 men and 33 women) took part in the project. The project participants underwent a personal development course, medical fitness assessment and balance diagnostics assessment. The project also comprised retraining courses, including computer literacy courses. As part of the individual counselling, an employment strategy was created. Direct support, in the form of travel and meal allowances, was provided to the project participants. Suitable job positions were also supported by way of payroll contributions for the employer.
