Guidance, training, education and control of the secret collaborators by the specialized state bodies in Bulgaria

Summary/Abstract: This article analyzes the activities of the public authorities in Bulgaria, associated with guidance, training, education and control of the secret collaborators. The article is part of a monographic study on the subject: „Activity of the specialized state authorities in Bulgaria with the secret collaborators“, issued in 2016 by „Albatros“ publishing house. The study covers the different historical periods – from the Liberation of Bulgaria until the democratic changes in 1989, as its tasks are focused on analysis of the foundations, forms and methods of attracting collaborators, as well as the categories of collaborators, used over the years for counteracting the crime and national security protection.
