Summary/Abstract: The reconciliation of private and professional life is a relatively new phenomenon that is gradually taking hold in the Czech work environment. Employers who consider their employees from the perspectives of company benefits, flexible forms of work and reconciling work and family life are in high demand and afford them preference with most job seekers, especially those from the so-called Generation Y. A particularly apt example is provided by the Institute of Molecular Genetics (AS) which for the fourth consecutive year offers its employees in-company nursery school services and which for this reason, in 2014, was awarded a second grant from the "Prague Operational Programme - Adaptability" for the development of pro-family measures.
