Summary/Abstract: At the end of the summer holiday period (25 to 28 August 2015), Prague hosted almost three and a half thousand sociologists from Europe as well as other parts of the world on the occasion of the twelfth biannual conference of the European Sociological Association (ESA). The main theme of the conference "differences, inequalities and sociological imagination" urged participants to closely monitor socially important and topical issues.
