Summary/Abstract: The three greats worldwide recognized historians Noel Malcolm, Ivo Banac and Emily Greble, also two worldwide famous and recognized writers, Ivo Andrić and Dževad Karahasan, agree in regard of significant geopolitical integrity making identity and historical continuity from middle age up today, what creates the essence of Bosnia Herzegovina (BiH). Today BiH has maintained its plurality affirming its unity, its integrity and sovereignty. Only different peoples are able for unity, and only unity of different peoples is vivacious and nonviolent. Mechanic (totalitarian) unity is violent, in the same way as totalitarian difference is violent. Plurality and unity in the BiH state, society and community are just indivisible. In these terms BiH is “essential metaphor of the world” (Dževad Karahasan). The future of the BiH, like of the entire world, is beyond hate produced by totalitarian difference and beyond hate produced by totalitarian unity. The peoples, confessions and nations in BiH maintained moral-humanistic substance, despite all, in the most difficult periods of their history, especially during World War II (1941‒1945), and during the last war (1992‒1995). Confessions in BiH, like the others in the world, are losing their moral equity and are not more the moral compass when they become servants to their nations, it means servants to secular interests, because national interests are secular. In times past the order was the next: the universal good, the particular good and the private good. Today the order was perverted: the private good, the particular good and universal good. Namely, today prevailed a cult of private good and the cult of personality leading the humans and humanity in the moral and other catastrophes. It is needed return to the universal morality and to the humanistic principles.
