Spre un Cod al patrimoniului cultural
Towards a Code of cultural heritage

Summary/Abstract: The legal research concerning the nation cultural heritage is a necessity in the current Romanian legal environment. The attention this field is deserving of has the ability to contribute to the formation of national awareness of the importance of cultural heritage in the life and identity of the Romanian society. As a concrete expression of the recent social concern, in general, and the concern of the public administration, in particular, for the safeguarding of the national cultural heritage, the codification of the legislation in the field appears as an objective reachable within the near future, considering the adoption of the preliminary theses. The present research shall analyse the premises of the draft code, some of the novel elements proposed and shall formulate legislative proposals from the perspective of the institution of administrative liability.
