Summary/Abstract: This study seeks to investigate theentrepreneurial perceptions among the students regardingtheir professional careers analyzing macro, micro andentrepreneurial education factors in Latvia, including theanalysis of gender differences. The research is based on theanalysis of data collected through a survey. The paper usesstatistical analysis involving the measures of descriptivestatistics (absolute and relative frequencies, means andrespective standard deviations) and inferential statistics toexamine the differences within an original dataset of 360young people in Latvia. The results reveal severalstatistically significant gender differences. This researchcontributes to enriching literature and also adds value tostudies on entrepreneurial perceptions divided by gender.Understanding the factors which shape entrepreneurshipeducation, macrofactors and microfactors affecting youngpeople’s decisions and perceptions, education systems andpublic policies would allow adjusting and designingpolicies aiming to boost entrepreneurship education andenhance entrepreneurship as a career choice and balance itin a gender context.
