Establishment of Industrial Parks and their Effects on Unemployment in the Economy

Summary/Abstract: Each stage of the development has its own characteristics. Prominent feature of current development is influenced by the globalization process and the subse-quent pressure on structural changes in the operating area of production, in-vestment and trade, development of capital resources and methods for using them. Positive reflection of the trend of liberalization of the movement of indus-trial capital, an adequate level of responsiveness to its acquisition and localiza-tion in specific territorial conditions and the building of industrial parks. The purpose of scientific paper is to bring their history in the world and the Slovak Republic, to highlight their role in creating conditions for building economic relations with major investors, foreign investment and in particular reducing unemployment by creating new jobs.
