Głosowanie ludowe jako forma demokracji bezpośredniej w Republice Słowackiej
THE PEOPLE’S VOTING AS A FORM OF DIRECT DEMOCRACY IN THE SLOVAK REPUBLIC

Summary/Abstract: The author hereof presents description of specific form of direct democracy – głosowanie ludowe (“the people’s voting”). This paper aims at proving that the people’s voting (plebiscite) is very interesting and show details of it is organization in law. The President may be recalled from his post before the end of his term of office by the people’s voting. It has to be a resolution of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. Then citizens of Slovakia are allowed to decide directly for a President recall in a plebiscite. When President was not recalled in the people’s voting, the President shall dissolve the National Council of the Slovak Republic.
