Summary/Abstract: It is common to listen some speakers of the Fulfulde language, male or female, omit ormispronounce certain sounds of the French language. This causes difficulties in understanding. This reality, which isparticularly related to diction, constitutes a real problem which we try to analyse in this article for a better appropriation ofthe French language and to help them to change for their future professional career. It emphases particularly on the crucialproblem encountered by fulfulde-speaking student teachers at the Higher Teacher’s Training College of Maroua, at thelevel of oral expression of the French language. He proposes to train the diction, and literacy in the Fulfulde language.
