Summary/Abstract: In Vietnam period 2016-2022, there are some case studies of publishing false or fake information online which considered as internet crime. Social Networks' omnipresence and ease of use has revolutionized the generation and distribution of information in today's world. However, easy access to information does not equal an increased level of public knowledge. Unlike traditional media channels, social networks also facilitate faster and wider spread of disinformation and misinformation. Viral spread of false information has serious implications on the behaviours, attitudes and beliefs of the public, and ultimately can seriously endanger the democratic processes. This kind of publishing fake information can cause many troubles and misleading for public and society. Hence, this study uses observations, practical situation with cases studies of publishing fake news, for example in Vietnam, authors will address A case study of Thanh Nien newspaper, (thanhnien.vn) and other cases as references (many bad/fake websites such as m.facebook.com - Liem chinh khoa hoc, www.nguonluc.com, tinhte.vn, thietbihopkhoi.com, nguyenduyxuan.net, sg247, phohen.com, vietgiaitri.com etc.) tonghopbao.com and other online magazines, for ex. Tuoi Tre newspaper (tuoitre.vn), m.baomoi.com, vnreview.vn, vietnamnet.vn, and dantri. com.vn - violating laws and publishing fake news (which are used, then by universities in Vietnam such as Thu Dau Mot university in Binh Duong Vietnam, Da Lat university in Lam Dong, in order to give out recommendations for standards of editors and newspapers writers. We also propose some suggestions for educating students in universities and propose ways handling these kinds of internet crime.
