Summary/Abstract: The main purpose of the work is to analyze the economic and legal conditions of the public finance sector in Poland. Induction was used as the main research method. The catalog of units (entities) of the public finance sector includes not only organizational and legal units, but also financial (technical) devices that do not have their own organizational structures, but are operated (managed) by specific entities. Organizational units of authorities and public administration bodies (state and self-government), courts and tribunals, as well as control and law protection bodies constitute a group separate from other units. The feature of the public finance sector entities will not be exclusively possession of the so-called legal personality. The public finance sector includes both entities that are legal persons and those that do not have legal personality, such as a budgetary unit.
