Online research and the ethics of citation

Summary/Abstract: This article aims at presenting the main types of online sources used when writing a scientific paper and also the instances in which the ethics of citation is compromised by various factors. This paper also presents the ethical implications of the citation process and the most common mistakes authors make in citing online sources, especially those which were not properly formatted.
