CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING THE REGULATION OF THE CREATION, ARRANGEMENT AND HOMOLOGATION OF PEDESTRIAN TOURISM ROUTES IN ROMANIA

Summary/Abstract: The author critically analyzes Government Decision no. 1.252/2022 for the approval of the Methodological Norms regarding the creation, arrangement and homologation of routes for pedestrian tourism, paying attention to the institution of contraventional liability for non-compliance with the relevant norms. The most important conclusions of the article concern the obvious omission of the legislator to regulate the situation of the routes for pedestrian tourism existing on the date of entry into force of Government Decision no. 1.252/2022, established by entities that, according to the current regulations, do not have the vocation to acquire the quality of their administrator and to the questionable choice to exclude from the category of entities with a potential vocation as administrators of routes for pedestrian tourism of public entities with attributions in the administration of natural protected areas.
