Summary/Abstract: The main criticism to social psychology from a number of key authors in the field is that, by trying to appear as a legitimate science, it cut itself off from social issues. In order to understand why psychological objects are desocialized and why this type of criticism had no effect on social psychology, we are studying its relationship to its object by bringing in a third party systematically: Science, Social Demand, Psychology, Sociology. From this third outlook (Ego, Alter, Object) proposed by Moscovici (1984) we are suggesting collectively to reconsider the relationship to these different instances to which social psychology refers to apprehend its object.
