Analysis of students’ opinions after the creation of the west Pomeranian Universityof Technology in Szczecin

Summary/Abstract: There are prospects of new technological concepts, covering both the engineering and natural science, beyond the extension of the educational offer of new faculties and departments of study, created by the establishment of a new university on 1 January 2009 as a result of merging Technical University of Szczecin and University of Agriculture in Szczecin. The paper presents an analysis of the opinion of students at the time of the observed changes in work organization and in teaching. An ordered probit model was used to assess the pleasure degree of merging both colleges, since almost all variables chosen through a questionnaire had quality character, whereas the response variables were ordered measurement.
