Summary/Abstract: The bank card allows commercial banks to resize their customer segments and market shares. Functional and technological innovations, financial innovations and security innovations in their use have emerged in the banking card market. This research presents an analysis of the structural and dynamic evolution of bank cards in circulation, the number of terminals, as well as the volume of transactions with bank cards. The time horizon for which the analysis is performed is the period from 2019 to 2021. There is a substantial and steady increase of 47% in the value of debit card transactions and 43% in the value of card transactions via POS.
