Summary/Abstract: Climate change is increasingly recognised as a “threat multiplier” by scientists, politicians and civil society around the world, and is a serious challenge today. While it is difficult to predict the consequences of this phenomenon, it is much easier to identify the steps needed to limit the consequences and slow it down as much as possible. The workshop on “The impact of climate change on national security”, organised by the CDSSS on December 14th, 2022, is the first stage of the project, planned for the period 2022-2024, according to the Sectoral Research and Development Plan of the Ministry of National Defence.
