Summary/Abstract: I have chosen as a theme the adoption and the right of the child to inheritance, expressing our conviction that the subject of its legal implications are far from being exhausted, with the hope that we will be able to contribute to the understanding of this institution. The current study aims to analyze the child's right to inheritance as far as the adopted children are concerned. Thus, the most important form of protection of an adopted child is adoption, as the only chance for a harmonious development within a family to permanently support them in order to achieve their dreams. In terms of inheritance, in any case, the children of the deceased are entitled to inherit, unless they do not want to or are partially removed. The rules governing inheritance apply only in the event of the death of an individual person. The conclusion that emerges is that what we set out to do is to highlight some aspects of the notion of inheritance. In this context, we will highlight some peculiarities regarding the adoption within the inheritance.
