Summary/Abstract: My research is based on the presentation of the school in the interwar period in Radu Flora’s novel "When Spring Comes". In this novel, Radu Flora gives description of the school system in the interwar period in the Serbian Banat. Even if he states that it is neither an autobiographical novel, nor a product of fantasy, but a mixture of everything, he admits that the novel is not something that is detached from reality. His novel is providing information about the school system in that period, Romanian and Serbian pedagogues, and the form of school and boarding school organization. Novel ”When Spring Comes” for Romanian literature in the Serbian Banat is a treasure of historical and social information from the interwar period.
