Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to highlight the attractiveness of business studies programme in International Marketing taught in English to students from the countries of the former USSR. The programme is offered by the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the University of Lodz (FIPS UL) as an innovative educational product addressed to Polish and foreign students. Students from the countries of the former USSR – predominantly from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, or Turkmenistan – very much appreciate the quality of teaching, the opportunity to work in a truly multicultural environment, possibility to take part in ERASMUS mobility schemes, lecturer and student relationships, team-working on marketing projects, and competitive prices of the course. The paper discusses the results of empirical studies carried out by the author using the online in-depth interview method with the students of International Marketing from the countries of the former USSR. Individual approach to students and an open, foreign student-friendly educational model worked out at the Department of International Marketing and Distribution of the FIPS UL are major advantages of the course.
