Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses the results of a survey conducted to determine workers’ preferences for OSH communication channels and to assess the usefulness of information provided through classical and electronic communication channels for improving occupational safety and health before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey was conducted with the use of questionnaire in 2016 and in 2021. The findings for before and during the pandemic period are comparable: the majority of workers choose classic communication channels such as traditional training and meetings with management and traditional conversations with colleagues. OSH information considered useful for safe work performance is mainly communicated through classical channels. Social media were rated lowest in terms of usefulness. The survey results indicate that electronic channels can support, but not replace, the classic channels used in OSH communication.
