Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this Article was to examine the declarations of the pupils of the Youth Educational Centres concerning their family and life values. The research method used in this work is a survey, which was conducted in 2019. In my deliberations, I hypothesized that in the study group, boys in centres would be more likely than girls to declare they possess hedonistic values and accept illegal behaviour, while girls would mostly point to vital and family values. Author’s research shows that there were slight differences between the declarations of both sexes, which show that boys have a greater tolerance for inappropriate behavior and identify mainly with the values associated with a life full of entertainment and money. What unites boys and girls is the high position of family values. This is in line with the results of other studies present in the literature of the subject. The values that Poles have declared most important for years are love, health and family. This is confirmed by the results of the studies carried out.
