Summary/Abstract: Humanitarian crises caused by armed conflicts have always been the concern of the international community, given their medium and long-term effects and the large number of people affected. In a complex security environment, with smoldering or ongoing conflicts in many parts of the globe, the civilian population suffers the most. The effects are devastating for entire regions, through the emergence of massive flows and refugee routes, with a direct impact on neighboring states and beyond. The response of the international community, through the actions of specialized organizations, agencies, funds, non-governmental organizations, takes on a predominant role in this complex security environment, with these armed conflicts leading to the loss of innocent lives and suffering in the affected communities.
