Problem solving with computer

Summary/Abstract: The paper considers methods for graphical and numerical solving of equations and inequations with computer. The computer program „Graph” is applied. It is proposed to start studying extremal problems earlier in school, from the 9th grade on, for example. A numerical method is considered for the purpose, which allows using a computer program in graphical representations of functions and creation of computer tables. It is not necessary a preliminary knowledge on derivatives of functions. It is discussed also the use of programming languages in secondary school for problem solving concerning the curriculum in Mathematics.
