Summary/Abstract: REPRESENTATIVE POLITICO-HISTORICAL FIGURES AS WELL AS THE POPULAR PARTIES AND MASSES OF THE OLD FRENCH REVOLUTION CONTRIBUTED TO THE UNLEASHING AND ESTABLISHMENT OF MODERN BOURGEOIS SOCIETY. BOURGEOIS SOCIETY CREATED ITS OWN REAL INTERPRETERS AND SPOKESMEN, BUT CIVIL WAR AND STRUGGLES BETWEEN PEOPLES WERE NEEDED TO MAKE IT HAPPEN. A CENTURY EARLIER THE ENGLISH PEOPLE HAD USED THE LANGUAGE, PASSIONS, AND ILLUSIONS BORROWED FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT FOR THEIR BOURGEOIS REVOLUTION.
