Summary/Abstract: Covid-19 epidemic, which emerged in China in December 2019, caused global losses and many countries had to change their management strategy. Countries tried to alleviate the economic anxiety of the society, but the policies they implemented were not enough to positively affect employment. Employment, which is a problem for both women and men in normal times, has become more of a problem for women with the epidemic. In this study, the employment status of women during the Covid-19 period was analyzed. In the research, the relationship between employers in the Aegean region, whether they are affected by the Covid-19 outbreak and their attitudes towards women's employment has been examined. Within the framework of the research, a survey was conducted with 79 businesses that continued to work actively during the pandemic period. As a result of the research, it was seen that 84.9% of the employers were affected by the epidemic and 72.2% of them terminated the employment of female workers. 62% of the enterprises do not want to be fired; it has been observed that female employees are given unpaid leave.
