Summary/Abstract: The text examines the green economic recovery projects, set out in the Bulgarian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), designed to stimulate economic development after the Covid-19 crisis. Although greenhouse gas emissions are unevenly distributed and the richest 10% of the world's population are responsible for 52% of cumulative carbon emissions, which stem mainly from transport, Bulgaria is committed to the development of more green energy and energy efficiency incl. through the NRRP. Two variants of the national plan are analyzed, highlighting some market and regulatory problems. An adapted methodology for ranking the projects in the Bulgarian NRRP is applied and the stimuli of the RES sector are analyzed.
