SOCIAL SECURITY OF RESIDENTS LARGE CITIES AND PHENOMENA OF SOCIAL PATHOLOGIES

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the problem of the occurrence of social pathologies, especially in large cities, which affect the safety of citizens. The main problems discussed in the artic- le are pathological phenomena related to alcohol and drug addiction, prostitution and related crime in various social areas. The next part of the article describes the causes of pathological phenomena and their impact on the safety of the inhabitants. Then atten- tion was paid to the responsibility of the state and actions to improve social security through the implementation of various types of preventive and prophylactic measures. Another aspect raised was the great importance of the measures taken in the field of pathology, which translates into the improvement of social safety of inhabitants of lar- ge cities. The aim of the article was to present the problems of the occurrence of social pathologies and their impact on the everyday functioning of citizens.
