Summary/Abstract: The term „patrimony”, which arrived to us through the latin language, represents in its legal meaning the set of rights and obligations that can be valued in money and belong to a natural or legal person. The modern theory of „patrimony” combines the traditional elements of the subjective theory of patrimony – person and objective theories of affective patrimony. „Patrimony” is included in the exhaustive list of constituent elements of the legal entity. However, it is not only necessary for the acquisition of legal personality, but is a structural element of it, the destiny of the legal person being inextricably linked to its patrimony.
