The Royal Family's Fortune in the Hands of the Masses, 1948

Summary/Abstract: This document is a report including suggestions for the final distribution and assignment of the former royal family’s assets. The report is a detailed inventory of all the assets that belonged to the royal house, from art objects to country or city buildings, from jewellery, debentures, bonds to estates and farms. The inventory and supervision commission was chaired by Avram Bunaciu and Mihai Levente. The commission did not only present the number of these assets, but also their evaluation and proposals for their destination, as distributed to the institutions of the new regime.
