Summary/Abstract: V.I. Lenin was the main ideologue of the “theory” and practice of starving people as a means to attain political goals. The hunger that spread over the entire Moldavian S.S.R. in 1946-1947 was a direct result of the Bolshevik policy. The fulfillment of the agricultural produce delivery plans, imposed by the Kremlin on the Bessarabian peasants, was achieved with 200,000 dead, hundreds of thousands of sick people, tens of thousands of persons sentenced to various terms in prison.
