Summary/Abstract: To fight the vast network of the Banat resistance movement, the Securitate (secret political police) had to organize a “small command” that was in charge with terminating the groups in the mountains, concentrating troops from several regions of the country. The reports sent from the theater of operations describe the resistance groups as made up of 10-12 members and being closely linked to each other.
