Summary/Abstract: The article analyses economic crisis from two perspectives, one is looking at expectations of Slovenian export companies in times of economic crisis and the other are government measures against the crisis, the so called „third package“. Collected data shows that exporters with smaller number of employees lowered their export expectation less than companies with more employees. Companies with larger share of exports in revenues lowered their export expectations to a greater extent. Companies with higher business debt per unit of output expect to carry out export activities easier and some even expect increases in exports. On the other hand, more financial debt leads to greater decrease of export expectations. Therefore the government guarantee scheme, based on our analysis seems reasonable.
